Transflex™ Metric air brake line tubing is made from polyamide (nylon) to meet the requirements of SAE J844 specifications. These air brake hoses are developed specifically for air brake line applications in trucks and trailers. They can also be used in a wide range of instrumentation and secondary air systems. The tubes provide good resistance against ageing caused by heat and light, and have a wide range of operating temperatures.
